Salary Calculator
Calculate salary structure, employee deductions, employer contributions and CTC.
Distribute the gross salary across components. Total must equal gross salary.
PF contributions are calculated using the applicable PF wage ceiling. You can adjust this value based on your requirements.
Employee PF: 12% of Basic+DA (capped at the PF wage ceiling). Employer: EPF 3.67% + EPS 8.33% + EDLI 0.5%.
Employee ESIC: 0.75% of gross. Employer ESIC: 3.25% of gross. Applicable only when gross ≤ ₹21,000/month. Employee contribution exempt if average daily wage ≤ ₹176.
Estimated employer provision for CTC purposes only. Actual gratuity liability is subject to applicable eligibility, wage definition and statutory rules. This provision does not reduce employee take-home salary.
Gross salary is the total monthly salary before any deductions. It includes Basic, DA, HRA and all other allowances.
Net salary (take-home) is the amount the employee receives after statutory deductions such as PF and ESIC are subtracted from gross salary.
Cost to Company (CTC) is the total employment cost to the employer. It includes the employee's gross salary plus the employer's statutory contributions such as PF and ESIC.
Employee PF and ESIC are deducted from the employee's gross salary and reduce take-home pay. Employer PF and ESIC are additional costs borne by the employer and are not deducted from gross salary — they increase the total CTC.
This calculator provides an estimated salary structure based on the information entered and the statutory assumptions used by the tool. The CTC shown reflects gross salary plus the employer statutory contributions (PF, ESIC) and, when enabled, an estimated gratuity provision calculated at (Basic+DA) × 15 ÷ 26 ÷ 12. Actual employer CTC may additionally include bonus, insurance, variable pay or other benefits. PF and ESIC applicability and contribution calculations can depend on the employee, establishment, wage definition, statutory coverage and applicable rules. Actual payroll should be processed according to the applicable legislation, notifications and the organisation's payroll policy.
